Firewood
Our Process
1
Identification
We identify fallen trees on our own property, or in many cases, we’re invited by county and city officials, or local residents, to remove fallen trees up to a certain size and condition.
2
Inspection
We inspect the tree to ensure we are capable of safely removing the wood. After we remove the wood, we place it in our on-site storage, which protects it from rain, snow, or ice to ensure a continuous drying process. Once the wood is ready for use, we bundle and deliver it as families request.
3
Requesting Firewood
You can request firewood by filling out our online request form on our website or by contacting us directly here. Please provide details about your location and specific needs.
4
Allocation
We do have limits on the amount we can donate to one family because we try to service as many families as we can. Typically, a family can receive one cord per quarter but this may be changed based on availability. When you contact us, we’ll let you know if we can accommodate your requested amount based on our supply and the order history.
